The Project at a glance

SAMSON France, via the industrial group Fives, is involved in a project to expand a production complex of one of the largest steel manufacturers in China. This expansion project aims to meet the demand for steel used for the automotive sector in China and South East Asia.

The Application

The 101 valves are of made in France (DN 25 to 150 for linear valves type 3241; DN 25 to 200 for rotary valves type 3310) and are used in a continuous annealing line, whose purpose is to improve the properties of steels for automotive sheet metal (strength, hardness...).  In the process developed by Fives, SAMSON valves are used to control either steam or demineralized water.
